Regionen som är känd för sin skönhet där man njuter av god mat och goda viner. En region som ännu inte drabbats av massturismen.

För att kunna orientera oss har vi hjälp av svenska Marie som bott i området i stort sett hela sitt liv, specialist på regionens viner Barolo och Barbaresco. Vinerna är några av Italiens mest kända röda viner och vilka görs på nebbiolodruvan. En resa i ett öppet landskap med stora mat och vin upplevelser. Små byar, lokala restauranger, små och stora vinproducenter samt besök på ett grappa destilleri. Marie öppnar dörren till de små byarna och till en ny värld av stora smaker.
